As many of you know I LOVE ST. PATRICK'S DAY. All of it. Drunk firemen, cops, green beer, parades, Guinness, and March Madness. This year however I'm singing a different tune. I'm leaving on Sunday morning (early, way too early) to go on a business trip to San Antonio. None of the above will be indulged in. I called the Warden to police my behavior. Nothing is a bigger buzz kill on that day. St. Patrick's Day is everything she hates drunks, the color green, and parades. Knowing the Warden the way I do I knew she would agree. I was right-really it is too easy sometimes. She didn't say yes to see me she said yes to get out of Chicago. I'm just part of the package. I picked her up from JFK last night. We weren't even out of the terminal when the list came out of things she wanted to do. This list is longer than most Christmas lists. For once I'm happy to have the list. It will keep me on my best behavior. I can assure that no where on that list of things to do are the words parade or beer. Maybe next year.
*I will however, be partaking in the annual whiskey cake provided by Turbo's dad Bige. The Warden can only control my fun if she is standing right next to me.
*As for my adventure at Jury Duty- I would've rather been at work. Now, that is saying something. It was the longest day of my life.
