Today at work while pretending to be busy I came across something so shocking that I was actually beside myself. This is today's coverage on the Gowanus Lounge. Who rides the subway with a potty training toilet? Who allows their child to pee in it on the 2 train? What do you do with the waste? Who allows their children to pee on the trees in Prospect Park?
Seriously, these are all questions that need to be answered.
Now, in no way shape or form should anybody listen to me on how to be parent. My previous post is a good example of my lack of maturity. However, I do know that it isn't OK to let your kids pee outside. I'm pretty sure that in most social circles it isn't OK. Behavior like this will only lead to public urination arrests later on in life.

Paste rated this album #2 in their best of 2006. I gave them a listen off of that review and let me tell you they rock. What I dig most about them is the fact they sound like a drunken Springsteen. I just reread this book. It is amazing. For some reason I'm fascinated by landscape architecture. Olmsted is probably best known for desinging Central Park and Prospect Park. he also desinged the town of Riverside a suburb of Chicago. One of my favorite mysteries set in New York. Carr does an amazing job of capturing old New York. I just recently re-read this book. I forgot how good it is. If you haven't already read it go pick it up you won't be disappointed. This book is like a train wreck-you can't take your eyes off of it. I found it disturbing and engaging all at the same time. She has no problem telling the reader that she has worked in the sex industry of the bay area, taken drugs, slept around, and traveled around the country via Grayhound.
